A Sample of what you can expect to read... Leicester 23rd August 2006... Exact copy, as read by members prior to the day's action...

DIZZY DREAMER won her maiden at two first time out but had since regressed her previous form read 6th of 9, 8th of 9, 8th of 10, 10th of 11 and 8th of 11. Peter Chapple-Hyam's filly would not ordinarily be of any interest on her comeback run following a short break then... UNLESS YOU HAD READ THIS...

'DIZZY DREAMER has been a little disappointing in her two starts so far this season, but she looked in fine fettle on the Limekilns when she pulled five lengths or more clear of Green Desert filly ME, when the pair worked over seven furlons. She has been highly tried in her two starts to date this year but she is well up to making an impact in handicap company in the coming weeks'

DIZZY DREAMER won easily by two lenghts, at 16/1

The Newmarket Gallops section of The Eclipse File provides an exclusive insight into some of the top stables at the headquarters of British racing, in Newmarket. The very basis for the launch of the Eclipse File many years ago, such data and analysis remains invaluable to those professionals who find it impossible to watch their opponents while in the process of highly tuning their own charges. We've all seen the candid interviews with trainers on television, read fluffy reports from so-called experts in newspapers, but now, for the very first time, we reveal what really happened during a horse's preparation for the racecourse! Our independent, vastly experienced team of work-watchers have no vested interest, they accurately report exactly what they see on the home slopes for the benefit of the racing professional. Our client base already includes trainers, owners and, indeed jockeys both professional and amateur. AND, it's so easy to use our Gallops feature once you join, here's a taster........

The Newmarket Gallops feature is accessed by clicking on the Gallops button in the members' enclosure. You will then be presented with a table of racecards for the date selected (as below.) If a horse image appears in any given race, this indicates that there is a gallop report available for a runner in this race. By clicking on the horse icon, the Gallops information appears. No long searching process, the system finds the relevant gallops reports for all of the day's runners for you, on demand.

Once the grid appears as above, by clicking on the icon of your choice, the relevant reports appear, as below.....

As well as providing the very latest gallop report for that runner, you are also offered the option of checking previous reports. This gives a clear indication, whether the horse is progressing in his homework, or indeed if the opposite is true. Very often groups of horses will work together over a period of time and by comparing previous gallop performances, it soon becomes evident, which of the group are improving or working exceptionally well.

But that's not all! As well as automatically sourcing the gallop reports for horses with entries, as a subscriber, you are able to interogate the database of reports in other ways. Interested in one particular horse? Then simply use the 'search by horse' facility and read all the information for that individual at your leisure! Want to know what your favourite trainer has been up to? By using the 'search by trainer' facility, you can view all reports for that trainer at will. Our user friendly system puts you firmly in control!

The Eclipse File Gallops reports offer subscribers an invaluable insight into what really happens on the most famous gallops in the sport. If something special happens on the Newmarket Gallops, you'll be among the first to know.
