06-01-2007 BOHEMIAN SPIRIT Spotted when 2nd to Kalca Mome, 2m110yds (4yo+) (0-150) handicap chase, Cheltenham, 9th December 2006, Soft. Bohemian Spirit is much better suited to a sounder surface. He was outstayed only inside the last hundred yards. He can win a similar event in the near future..... 1 11/4
06-01-2007 SILVERBURN Spotted when winning 2m110yds (4yo+) novice hurdle, Newbury, 25th November 2006, Soft. Silverburn is, in our opinion, as accurate a jumper of hurdles as we have seen since Best Mate in his novice days. Of course he has yet to prove that he has the same engine but his jumping ability alone looks sure to win him plenty more races.... 1 5/1
06-01-2007 FAJR Spotted when 3rd to Plum Pudding, 1m (3yo+) (0-95) handicap, Newmarket, 28th September 2006, Good. Fajr won three handicaps in a row back in the spring (including one over this course and distance) and this run strongly suggests that he is coming back to his best. He came from well on the pace to finish really well to make the frame. He acts on good ground and faster on turf and also on the all-weather. He can win a similar event in the near future...... 1 7/4
01-01-2007 CORNISH REBEL Spotted when unplaced behind War Of Attrition, 3m2f110yds (5yo+) Grade 1 Chase, Cheltenham, 17th March 2006, Good. Cornish Rebel wearing a visor for the first time was abandoned by stable jockey Ruby Walsh in favour of Hedgehunter. He was in the process of running a fine race travelling nicely approaching the third last fence. However, he made a blunder which cost him both places and momentum. He was eased for a few strides and he was unable to get back into the race. Nevertheless, he had already left a favourable impression in what was, admittedly, a below standard renewal of this great race. He stays well, goes best on good ground and it would be no surprise to see him win another decent prize when getting his conditions... 1 11/4
28-12-2006 AIR FORCE ONE Spotted when unplaced behind Flight Leader, 3m Grade 2 novice hurdle, 9th December 2006, Soft. Air Force One was never really put into this race but he stayed on well without ever being asked anything like a serious question. He is capable of a good deal better and he may well be ideally suited by better ground.... 1 5/2
28-12-2006 PEVENSEY Spotted when 2nd to Corran Ard, 2m (4yo+) maiden hurdle, Southwell, 8th December 2006, Good to soft. Pevensey improved on the flat throughout the summer and he made a bright start to his hurdling career here. He stayed on strongly at the finish and he can win a similar event in the near future.... 1 6/5
22-12-2006 OCHRE BAY Spotted when unplaced behind Rochdale, 5f (3yo) (0-80) handicap, Newmarket, 13th May 2006, Good. Ochre Bay has only previously run over this trip but he gave every indication here that he needs a step up in trip now. He was off the bridle from halfway but stayed on doggedly and looks sure to benefit from at least seven furlongs. He is best on fast ground and he can win a handicap when getting his conditions.... 1 7/2
21-12-2006 KILIMANDSCHARO Spotted when unplaced behind Aggravation, 1m67yds (4yo+) (0-75) handicap, Windsor, 19th June 2006, Good to firm. Ex German performer Kilimandscharo ran well here on his first start for this small yard. This trip was too sharp and he will be much better suited by further. He is one to keep an eye on..... 1 15/8
15-12-2006 TAGULA BLUE Spotted when 2nd to Silverburn, 2m110yds (4yo+) Grade 3 novice hurdle, Newbury, 25th November 2006, Soft. Tagula Blue boasted a more than useful run against the top class Straw Bear on his penultimate start over hurdles and he had looked a very much improved performer on the flat in the summer. He confirmed that view here when pressing the very promising winner all the way home. He will not be long in winning another race over hurdles.... Wins next time out at a nice price... 1 8/1
09-12-2006 EXOTIC DANCER Spotted when unplaced (3rd) behind Baby Run, 2m (4yo+) listed novice chase, Aintree, 22nd October 2005, Good. Exotic Dancer was beaten only 15 lengths by Inglis Drever in the World hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival before putting up another good effort over 2m4f at Aintree. He was always likely to find this trip on the sharp side on his debut over fences. However, he was very proficient over the obstacles despite the fast pace and although he was tapped for foot before three out he stayed on well under pressure to gain on the principals. He will have no trouble winning over fences and when stepped up in trip he can win a decent event. He acts on most types of ground bar extremes. He showed that a step up in trip was ideal for him when he won the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham in November coming from off the pace to win in fine style. He will still be well handicapped on his hurdles form after he is reassessed and he can win another decent prize..... 1 8/1
